Background
Data Axle is a medium-sized company specializing in data solutions and omnichannel marketing services. In the summer of 2023, I interned with their product design team to enhance their product, Salesgenie ("Genie"), which offers business and consumer lead access with integrated outreach tools. My contributions focused on two projects:
- Implementing a feedback on a record feature in their new Next Gen Genie platform.
- Introducing a list view option on the audience homepage.
Goals
Feedback on a Record Feature
- Create an intuitive feedback system for users to suggest edits on records.
- Improve the user experience by integrating inline text edits and clear visual feedback mechanisms.
Audience List View
- Simplify navigation by addressing user complaints of cognitive overload in the card view.
- Provide a clean and efficient list view option while ensuring feature parity.
